Privacy Policy

Overview

FM Radio Bot is designed to collect the minimum data necessary to function. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information about individual Discord users. This policy explains exactly what we do store and why.

What data we store

We store only guild-level (server-level) data:

We do not store usernames, user IDs, message content, voice activity, IP addresses, or any other personal data.

How we use this data

The data above is used solely to operate the bot's features โ€” saving and retrieving favourites, persisting server-specific settings between sessions, and gating Premium-only features. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for analytics or advertising.

How long we keep it

Guild data is retained until one of the following happens:

Third-party services

FM Radio Bot queries the Radio Browser public API to search for stations. When you run /search, your search query is sent to that API. Please refer to Radio Browser's own privacy policy for details on how they handle API queries.

Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by Discord's native billing system. No payment data ever touches our servers.

GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about your server. Because we store no personal data about individual users, GDPR data subject rights (access, portability, erasure) apply at the guild level, exercisable by a server administrator.

No personal data is stored. We cannot identify you as an individual from any data we hold. If you believe otherwise, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

For privacy questions, data deletion requests, or any concerns, please join our Discord support server.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the bot's features evolve. Significant changes will be announced in the support server. Continued use of the bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
